In 2018-2020, Dia Espania, one of the largest supermarket chains in Spain, teamed up with Listonic Ads to promote their brand on the Grocery Magnet platform.
The first campaign was implemented between September 6 and 21, 2018. We displayed dedicated advertising banners on large websites popular in Spain. In two weeks, the campaign reached over 200,000 unique users.
It did not only promote Dia Espana stores, but also supported the campaign advertising the Spanish edition of MasterChef. After making their purchases, customers could win special chef’s knives signed with the logo of the popular culinary “talent show. ” A series of animated banners of different sizes was prepared for the campaign promoting Dia Espana stores and the MasterChef program. Depending on the space on the website where the ad was displayed, the algorithm appropriately selected the proportions of the creative that would best fit in the given place.
The campaign conducted for Dia Espania was such a success that 4 more marketing campaigns were carried out for the network in December 2019. The advertising message reached Spanish customers for 2 months and occasionally during Black Friday sales.
In July 2020, DIA Shopping Network chose Listonic Ads again to promote their offerings on the Grocery Magnet platform. DIA banners appeared online displaying food products such as beer, fruit, vegetables and household products such as toilet paper. By using the programmatic model and appropriate targeting, the creatives reached a wide audience.
